Current local church ministry: I just finished an interim at Atwood Wesleyan Church.

Hobbies: Golf and working out.

Most influential person in your life: My father.

Favorite Southern Seminary memory: First, signing the Abstract of Principles. Second, for my first few years of teaching, many people thought I was a student. How I wish people would think I looked that young today.

What books, besides the Bible, have most influenced you and why: The writings of the old Princeton School. The Alexanders, Hodges, Warfield, Machen, etc., write with great spiritual depth and faithful scholarship.

What influenced your decision to come to Southern Seminary: The spiritual direction of the school since R. Albert Mohler Jr. became president.

Ministry philosophy: To train solid, faithful ministers of the Gospel.
